Beyond All Reason is the result of a decades-long open-source real-time strategy lineage originating from Cavedog Entertainment’s Total Annihilation and its early modding ecosystem (including Uberhack), which evolved into the open-source TA Spring Engine (now Recoil) created by the Swedish Yankspankers, and progressed through mod lineages like Absolute Annihilation and Balanced Annihilation to form the foundation of BAR. This website recognizes and credits all historical creators, open-source maintainers, and community contributors whose foundational works and codebases made modern Beyond All Reason possible.

This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or maintained by the Beyond All Reason development team or its project maintainers.
